Gary studied at Seale Hayne and the Royal Agricultural College before joining Grant Thornton in 1987 and is a member of the Agricultural Law Association. He has been involved in practical farm management and worked for the NFU and the Barclays Bank Group. In 1990/91 he worked in Australia lecturing at Marcus Oldham Agricultural College in farm and equine management. He is also a partner in a 2,000 acre farming business.
Gary was previously a Partner at Grant Thornton, responsible for agriculture. He enjoys writing and has many articles published in the press together with books on Machinery Management and two issues of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Accountancy and Auditing Guide for Farming. A regular speaker at many events Gary is passionate about encouraging and helping young individuals progress and for clients to receive the very best advice available. Gary is a founder and now a non-executive director of Accession.
