
Richard Jones – Director and Financial Adviser
Richard Jones is a Director of Accession a Chartered Financial Planner and fellow of the PFS.
Richard studied politics at Newcastle University, graduating in 2004.
Richard obtained an MBA, focussed heavily on Finance, graduating in 2013.
Richard is a Chartered Financial Adviser, awarded by the Personal Finance Society.
Richard alongside being chartered is also a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS). The highest level of membership you can achieve in the Personal Finance Society.
Richard entered the financial services profession in 2004 as a Graduate Trainee at NFU Mutual, becoming a qualified adviser in 2005. Whilst there, he undertook an MBA at Warwick University, before founding Oundle Wealth Management in 2012. He is a Chartered Financial Planner, and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
In recent years, Richard has won two National awards. In 2021 he was named St. James’s Place’s Chartered Planner of the year, following being named as the Personal Finance Society’s Investment Specialist of the year in 2019/20. He was a finalist in the PFS 2021 Chartered Adviser of the Year award, recognising him as one of the top four practitioners in the country.
Outside of work, Richard has always been heavily involved in local rugby with Lutterworth and Oundle Rugby clubs. Richard retired from playing first team rugby in April 2022, claiming that everyone else had become too big and too quick. You will still find Richard at the rugby club regularly as a supporter and committee member.

Gary is an experienced director. He regularly writes and publishes articles in in the press together with books on Machinery Management and two issues of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Accountancy and Auditing Guide for Farming.
